When contemplating this wonderful little sequence (which is new to me), one really doesn't know what to admire most - the young lady's beauty and style, or the good fortune and sheer audacity of the photographer in capturing these images and making them available to us. Incidentally, are ALL Swedish women absolutely gorgeous - the statistical likelihood must be that there are at least some average and ordinary ones, but fortunately for us the available photographic record would suggest not. Surely only the truly pedantic (no doubt there are some!) will find this lady's apparently mundane choice of footwear a little out of kilter with the raw sex appeal of her tight leather skirt, maybe arguing that a pair of ankle boots, say, would be more fetching. For me, however, the trainers really work, for they suggest two qualities I admire in any woman. Firstly, they exude a subtly-understated "couldn't care less" attitude, and secondly they show that not only is she beautiful and stylish but practical too. After all, at the end of a hard day's mooching around Stockholm, the last thing you want to come home to is a set of painful blisters! I really love this photo set, and I think it once again shows that women in real life are infinitely sexier and more appealing than celebrities and professional models.

ReplyDeleteThere are a few more sets to come, which you may or may not have seen before- I think most of the sets are even better.
