Photo #6 - Photographs of Anna Nyström, and there are more of them on the internet than the mind can comfortably conceive, should always, in our opinion, be accompanied by a starkly unequivocal warning. Something along the lines of: "Danger. Viewing images of this woman is dangerously addictive, and will inevitably lead to a total loss of all grasp on reality". And this danger is most manifest when searching for images of her in leather and other similar apparel. Because Anna, unlike the majority of gorgeous Swedish gals (They're all gorgeous, aren't they? Well, maybe not Greta Thunberg - and we can't quite envision Greta in a pair of the finest black leather skinnies from H&M or Gina Tricot; nor, in truth, would we particularly wish to do so), Anna doesn't really "do" leather and other similar apparel that much. Appropriately for a "fitness model" and qualified fitness instructor, she's most often seen in a variety of athletic wear, and another favourite is stonewashed denim. But one has to do a bit of searching to find her in leather. There are a few, such as this one, where she sports shiny (not really leather) pants/leggings, although in our view her 5ft 1in frame and short, exquisitely-muscled legs aren't particularly suited to such attire, and we suspect she knows that too. There are some in short, tight leather skirts, which we do think she wears extremely well, and she has a nice line in stylish leather jackets. However, in comparison with the rest of her oeuvre, the leather look is decidedly uncommon. In searching for such stylings, of course, one finds countless other photos of her to delight the aesthetic sensibilities. But please heed the warning. Viewing images of Anna Nyström is dangerously addictive, and will inevitably lead to a total loss of all grasp on reality. We speak from experience. It happens to us.
